Dasappa had promised Rajanna’s father to take care of him and not let any problem happen to him. So he employs many workers who take care of every small need of Rajanna. His daily life is like a timetable and Dasappa is over protective of his health and doesn’t allow him to eat anything that is outside his healthy menu. Rajanna feels desperate but doesn’t want to hurt Dasappa but still dreams of eating simple things like mudde. Dasappa keeps bringing proposals from wealthy families but Rajanna does not find any of the women attractive.
One day he secretly tells one of his workers to take him to a jatre without Dasappa knowing. Upon reaching there, he enjoys himself roaming freely and meets a mute boy who asks him for some money. The boy runs off with the money leaving behind a slip that says the bearer is a mute person and orphan. Later, Rajanna falls asleep in a bullock cart and wakes up in a village where he starts eating fruits growing in a field. When a woman there accuses him of stealing, he uses the slip he has and pretends to be mute…
